USI Won Overseas Brand Value and Tech Innovation of 2018 China Listed Company Brand Value Award

(2018-05-21, Shanghai) On the afternoon of May 19, the 2018 Chinese Listed CompanyBrand Value Award and Innovation Forum was held in Chengdu, during which the 2018 Chinese Listed CompanyBrand Value Award was announced with the witness of authoritative scholars at home and abroad and executives from Fortune Global 500  in the world, and USI was ranked in the Top 50 Companies with Overseas Brand Value and the Top 25 Companies with Tech Innovation.



The 2018 Chinese Listed CompanyBrand Value Award was formulated and released through the cooperation between authoritative academic institutions and professional financial media by giving full play to years of brand theory research by the China Business Research Center of Tsinghua SEM and taking advantage of the acute insight of National Business Daily on the capital market, including the Total Top 100, Top 50 Private Companies and Top 50 Companies with Overseas Brand Value as well as three industrial segmentations, namely the Top 25 Companies with Tech Innovation, Top 25 Financial Companies, and Top 25 Real Estate Companies. 



Listed companies represent the vanguard and vitality of China’s economy and their brand influence reflects that of Chinese Companies on a large scale. As a result of scientific analysis and authoritative release, the Chinese Listed CompanyBrand Value Award hasbeen quickly recognized by the outside world after its release.



In terms of the 2018 Chinese Listed CompanyBrand ValueAward, all A-share listed companies before December 31, 2017 and all mainland companies listed overseas were selected. Based on the gross revenues in their annual reports, the operating profit, market value and such other financial data of candidate companies and in combination of industrial analysis, totally 500 listed companies were chosen for establishing an evaluation database.  



According to the analysis report of the list, the total brand value of the list in 2018 is 9,877.7 billion yuan. Companies ranked in the list of 2018 are with high brand value, with technology companies taking the priority. For the Top 50 Companies with Overseas Brand Value, the total brand value is 265.6 billion yuan, and among them technology companies account for the largest share, followed by home appliance, banking, construction and equipment sectors.
